Mithril Data provides consulting services for software engineering in data integration, cloud computing and artificial intelligence. The work has always centred on data: designing it, moving it and making it useful.
For larger AI builds, Mithril works with an experienced partner development team. Mithril holds the contract and manages delivery: the architecture, the data design and the client relationship stay with us.

The architect on every engagement
Hal founded Mithril Data in 2007 and leads every engagement personally. He designs and delivers data systems hands-on, from database design and canonical data modeling to Informatica and Pentaho integration, Stonebranch orchestration and cloud migration.
His career spans airlines, banking, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, insurance, utilities and more, with projects in the United States, Europe, the Caribbean and Japan. Recent work includes a large migration from AWS to Microsoft Azure.
Today he applies the same discipline to AI: retrieval-augmented assistants, LLM integrations and AI-assisted software development, built on data that has been modeled, cleaned and governed first.
